A couple of years ago I was in a meet'n'greet with Nathan Fillion and he remembered my friend but not me (acrazywench). I aked him why it was that some people make an impression and others don't and he gave me some really good tips (including a demonstration that spilled half my drink but...). Since then, every time I've been in that kind of situation I've thought back to that. Exude confidence. Be yourself. Don't be shy, don't be fangirly, say hello, say how much you admire them/their work. It's worked for me ever since.

Although, like I say, I've always had someone else's goal n mind when I've done it so...
