I heard this song, really heard it, for the first time last night after coming home and thinking about how I'm changing jobs and I'm starting to feel a lot more positive about myself. I'm one of those women who Alanis has always had an emotional resonance with. She's the same age as me, she's as angry and passive and ultimately screwed up as I am and this song from her latest album really hit home with me last night.

Pretty interesting stuff and I agree with a whole bunch of it, but this is what really caught my eye about Eve and a big reason why her character didn't work. "No chemistry with Christian Kane (which I thought was biologically impossible for human females)"
