ten to nine and I'm finally at work!? That's like an hour later than normal and there's no good reason for me being so late other than the fact that the carbon monoxide levels in the Clyde tunnel were too high so they had to stop traffic to let it clear.
So I was sitting on the south side of the Clyde, in my car, bored out of my skull, for over half an hour.
I also have a cold coming on and generally feel really crappy but am determined to get this boring job I'm doing at work finished by the end of this week which basically means today since tomorrow and Monday are public holidays...
Gah! I had so much planned out for this morning, stuff I was going to get done before I started work and now there's no way I've got time to do more than read through my emails and glance at my flist...
So a group I'm a lurker in got an email from someone claiming that the fic author on that group was a plagiarist and cited two examples of that. It looks bad. That was a couple of days ago now and things have been more or less sorted on that group. Then this morning I got an email from the person pointing the finger basically demanding that I remove the author from INAP becuase he/she is a plagiarist. (I'm not giving names at the moment until I hear back from the writer)
I read his/her stories. I enjoy his/her stories and my initial reaction to the complainer was that there was no way I was taking the stories down. But. Am I only having that reaction because I like the stories? Is that responsible of me? If it were someone else, some pairing I don't read, or stories I don't enjoy would I have stripped them straight away?
Oh the pressures of running a multi-author fic site!
