I'd say perhaps the option of judged and popular opinion? Two classes of awards? (Like BOTB at AVA)

I have no experience of judging fic so I wouldn't know how feasable that would be.

Plus ticky box my favourite Faith quote 'Just like riding a Biker!!' (Private gag that you may appreciate)
