And the drama continues...
SpringerLink. Taylor and Francis. Royal Society Publications. SwetsWise.
All of those are electronic journal providers with whom we have subscriptions/access arrangements. All of them are currently not giving us access to the titles to which we are entitled.
And my boss is on holdiay.
Can't go home early two days in a row...
ETA 24 hours after querying our lack of access with one of the providers, we get a response saying they've been able to log in and get access so it's us at fault. Uh - no it's not. So I've taken screencaps and sent them to them telling them this. What's the betting it'll be another day at least before I hear back?
Oh and a tiny message to one of the people who's been chasing me about it - if you're going to phone me before checking your email then don't get snippy when I say "Oh, did you not get the email I sent this morning?". And when I say I'll let you know as soon as I have any progress, I will let you know as soon as there's any progress. Phoning me every freaking 30 minutes is not going to do anything other than piss me off.
Second edit okay I take it back - after sending them the screencaps, they forwarded the query onto someone who actually seems to know what they're doing and is incredibly efficient. Maybe, just maybe, this'll all be sorted soon.... (and I'm resolutely ignoring the voice in my head telling me that the person I've been emailing is just very good at keeping the customer happy without actually doing anything...)
