I don't blame you for not liking a specific character.

I'm like you.

There are characters I don't like.

But, when you're writing a fic, especially a fic which is likely to be posted to a wider fandom base than your own personal flist, please have the sense to not say 'I really don't like CHARACTER A, s/he sucks, but I'm writing her/him anyway...'

It's only going to make people who like that character predisposed to hit F4 on your fic.

Seems like lately I can't say anything without pissing at least one person off. Or hey, an entire fecking fandom (today marks my personal best - Fried Gold!!)

Right now I'm really fecking tired because I haven't slept since Friday.

eta okay, so a little while (half an hour) after I posted, and I'm now going to bed. Having been in tears over an unfounded accusation and deleted the comment that caused all the shit on the fic journal, and pretty much decided to say screw it all to hell. If anyone thinks I would be complicent in keeping the silence over rape or abuse then you really don't know me.

I really do not need this crap.
