So I've been so caught up in web sites and then suddenly remembering last night that I was supposed to do some graphics work for this week's Freshers' Fair, that I haven't really thought about writing for a while. I woke up this morning to find an email asking in such a sweet way for the next part of Off Course (the Lost crossover) and I was reminded that it's been a month since I posted that first part. The next part is actually almost done, it's just suffering a little by me not having time to watch TV much right now, and with parts of chapters written for other stories as well I'm now wanting to get back to writing. And I don't think I've got too much to do at work today...
Plus, while I had Photoshop open anyway... I made an icon last night. I followed a tutorial by
dorky_duck and although I normally adapt tutorials after I've gotten the basics, I liked this one so much I decided to post it anyway. Although the icon is all mine, and it's a completely different cap (and character) from the one in the tutorial, praise must go to
dorky_duck for the inspiration!

(oh, and how bad is it that I'm actually thinking how the new sized Guardian is going to affect the newspaper display in the library - the broadsheets all seem to be going down to tabloid size and the poles we have to put the papers out on are all broadsheet sized. It's going to look like a joke soon. And the *really* silly thing? I don't even deal with the newspapers any more...)
