Morning all - hope you're not too hungover! I come bearing INAP news. I've been chatting to the ever-helpful Tammy on the efiction support forums and she gave me this ominous news: There's no way to get the information back without reuploading the original.

There may still be a fix I can do but I may need help. Basically what happened is that when you upload a story it is saved as a .txt file on my server and links are created to integrate it into the interface. The 2.0.2 upgrade of efiction changed the names of some of the directories (most notably the 'stories' one - when I opened my file manager on my ftp programme I used to be able to see all your names there, now you have all been turned into numbers... *g*) and for some reason not all of the content of those directories was converted to be recognised by the new interface.

So here's where I need your help. I need to identify which stories are misbehaving and I need their 'sid' number (eg WaDaDM is at this link: http://parrot.moments-lost.co.uk/viewstory.php?sid=2 - it's 'sid' (story id) number is 2 - make sense?). There are currently 906 stories on the server and probaly most of them are multi-chapter. Anyone up for checking through some of them?

Only three authors have been identified to me so far as having problems with their stories, but I don't know how many are going unreported so...

Oh! Almost forgot - and how could I? I deserve to be shot... - if you missed it last night then you really should go and read this. *g*
