Just had to do a training session at work - anyone who actually knows me personally knows that I *really* hate getting up in front of people and talking. Call me shy, call me insecure, call me whatever you want and I'll take it personally and go and cry in a corner...

Sorry went off on a tangent there!

Anyway, what I was saying was that I know it's a personal thing, I'm just not good at talking to people. If I could do a training course by email or LJ I'd be fine - more than fine actually, I'd be in my element! but talking? and having people look at me? Not my thing at all.

So this is the second in a series of sessions - I think there's only going to be one more - and should really have taken place last week but I was ill and had to postpone it till today.

It went okay I think, I got the points across and everyone seemed to get what I was saying so score one for me! Now I just have to work out how to do next week's one when it's practical stuff that doesn't really work all that well on a power-point presentation. I am actually going to have to speak and make coherant sentences... not looking forward to it all!

But for now - yay! It's over and I can get back to normal work stuff in the meantime!
