Yay!
Okay, I'm horribly bouncy today so much so that I don't care that my boss left a mountain of crap on my desk last night. She's getting most of it right back 'cause none of it has anything to do with me! Mwahaha!!!

Only 2 days to go before I leave for Fusion!! I'm so psyched about this - I've already spent an obscene amount of monoey on it and am planning on spending more - it's my one holiday this year so I'm making the most of it!

The one thing that I think might backfire on Sean, the organiser, is that when Gina Torres had to pull out he scrounged for a replacement guest and managed to get Robert Patrick to agree. I'm fairly impressed with that but I'm a little miffed that he's suddenly become the "very special guest star" at what is being sold as a Buffy/Firefly convention. I for one probably won't be going out of my way to hear what he has to say and I'm not bothered about autographs or photos with him so...

Anyways, back to the mass clearing of my desk then... *grin*

Hey Sho.

I'm not that fussed about Robert Patrick either. Since Buffy/Whedonverse is the reason I'm going rather than the 'convention experience', I'd have much preferred one of the ME writers or a minor character from Buffy/Angel/Firefly.

D'oh! I failed the spam robot challenge again! And again!! Turns out I am a robot after all!

I knew it.
I knew it. Not in the actual sense of actually knowing, but I knew.

I agree, I really don't think he needed another big name to pull people in - it'd be interesting to see how many more tickets were sold after RP was announced as a guest, I'd suspect probably not all that many. Some one else from the Whedonverse would have been much more fitting and interesting to see.

Meant to ask before - what's the spam robot thing?

It's because I'm anonymous rather than an official livejournal user. When I post I have to copy a bunch of letters and numbers to prove that I'm a real live person - but sometimes it's a bit distorted or they only show you half the letter or number so you have to guess!

(Still no fusion ticket on my doormat:()

Spam robot
You don't always have to do the spam check though, which is odd.

Beck.

(Didn't have to on the last post, but have to on this one - makes no sense! Can't even say it's to stop me flooding you with posts because my first comment hit the spam wall)

Monoey
Loads of Monoey. Is that different to our normal money, or is it worth exactly the same?

Re: Monoey
It's my way of avoiding the issue of exactly how much cold hard cash I've spent. If it's not spelt right then it doesn't count...
