Book meme
Gakked from [livejournal.com profile] velvetwhip and [livejournal.com profile] alltherealice (among others)

1. Take five books off your bookshelf. [Or on your desk, for the lazy]
2. Book #1 -- first sentence
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
5. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph:

"There's no mystery," Detective Sergeant Siobhan Clarke said, "Herdman lost his marbles, that's all." It is important, however, to seperate the concept of polarity from our culturally conditioned images of male and female.I suppose the first step is to find out whether you have any spares that'll fit my ship. The distinctive raised bogs of Europe are found mainly in the middle of Ireland, the Drenthe region of Holland, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony and Denmark, with important isolated examples elsewhere, such as Lindow Moss. It's done.

I'm weird. *grin* Books are as follows (picked up at random although the fifth one I just finished last night - wow!)

1: A Question of Blood - Ian Rankin
2: The Spiral Dance - Starhawk
3: Star Wars: The Last Command - Timothy Zahn
4 - The Buried Soul: How Humans Invented Death - Timothy Taylor
5 - Sandman: The Kindly Ones - Neil Gaiman

Current Mood: weird

Yours was fun - it didn't have a long list of barrow burial sites in the middle of it... *grin*

I really wanted to put in the final three sentences from the last one:

There. For good or bad. It's done.

So damn powerful!

Films are listed alphabetically according to the title by which they were first released in the US. It was mid-Afternoon and the crew were involved in a routine towing operation, pulling an unmanned barge of waste. A casket sign was the determinative sign in the verb "to bury" krs/curse and in the word for "coffin" krsw/cursu. "Now indeed there is hope of victory!" said Eomer. A housekeeping droid that cares for Han Solo's long empty apartment on Nar Shaddaa, ZZ-42 was seriously damaged during a battle with Boba Fett.

The books were (are):

1. The Ninth Virgin Film Guide
2. Time Storms - Jenny Randles
3. Decoding Egyptian Heiroglyphs - Bridget Mcdermott
4. The Lord of the Rings, Part two, The Two Towers - JRR Tolkein
5. Star Wars Encyclopedia - Stephen J Sansweet
