Fic rec
the Xander fans on my flist have probably already seen this but if not - go read this now! He Sees by Teri Just perfect.

on another point, I'm hooked on cartoons - always have been - but does it strike anyone that the reason the BtVS animated series hasn't appeared yet is partly because it already exists in the form of Kim Possible? Kim, the cheerleader who saves the world, Ron, her goofy sidekick who usually steps in to save the day, and Wade her computer geek friend? Hmm, sounds really familiar...

It's such a Buffy shout-out it isn't even funny.

Except that the Ron/Kim OTP is possible.

That is so depressing I won't even try to come up with a valid peice of feedback.

I'm right there with ya on the topic of being hooked on cartoons though. I haven't been watching as many of them lately though, mostly cause my fave was cancelled, and I haven't been babysitting so I'm not constantly bombarded with cartoons and made to like them. My nephew isn't even aware of cartoons yet, so it'll probably be a little while before I'm back into being a big fan where I choose to watch them over other things.

What are some of your favorites?

Why do you find it depressing? I thought it started off quite dark but by the end was just perfectly done. ::shrug:: ah well.

I have to say my favourite cartoons are the old classics - mostly WB ones (to my shame!) I adore the dancing frog!

Kim Possible as opposed to Buffy cartoon. I meant.

Theres this one old cartoon that I used to watch constantly. My Dad had it video taped, and it was Betty Boop style (Like that time era) and it was some old guy dressing up as Santa and making toys out of everything for kids. I love that cartoon. It's just... amazing.

Aha, gotcha now. I adore all the old cartoons and quite a few of the newer ones as well, except kids anime. Can't stand Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh and Card Captors and the like.

Right with you there, though I will admit to going through phases where I watch anime in the hopes that theres something quality there. I mostly get confused.

I love Super hero cartoons, Batman Beyond and Batman are the ones I can really stand though. The others are to hokey for me to watch for extended periods. X-men Evo was my very favorite though I can't stand the 90's Xmen.

I have a love/hate relationship with Nicktoons. I can watch them for hours on end *if* I've been babysitting. If I haven't I lose all interest.

Xmen Evo rocks! It's currently my favourite of the 'modern' cartoons, although it's buried away on this silly little digital channel which I keep forgetting about at the oddest times. In Britian there's four main terrestrial channels that anyone can get (BBC1, BBC2, ITV and Channel 4 - I'm not counting Channel 5 because there are still loads of people who can't get that without digital including me) ITV used to show the "Marvel hour" (Spiderman, the Hulk, Fantastic Four, Iron Man) followed by Xmen Evo - but over the last year they've changed that to Power Rangers and Yuh-Gi-Oh. With the occasional ep of Spiderman thrown in out of continuity just to annoy people like me. All the decent stuff's moved to this tiny digital channel called Toonami which keeps moving all over the place in the listings so that no one can find it.

Gah. I get very bitter at the silliest little things sometimes!

They occasionally show reruns on cartoon network of X-men Evo, and they were supposed to be bringing it back because of the fan outcry at it's sudden cancellation (I didn't even realize te last episode was the finale, I'd only heard rumors that the end was near nothing final)

I get bitter over very small things as well, trust me your not alone.

Who's your favorite X-Men Evo character? (I have no one else to talk to about my cartoons you see) Mine's Rogue, and Gambit out of loyalty, even though they butchered his character.

Sorry - I wasn't ignoring you honest, I switched off the computer before you posted this and now I feel bad in case you thought I was shunning you!

Favourite Xmen Evo character? Gotta go with Rogue but Storm's pretty cool in Evo as well - so much better than in the films or in the really bad 80s/90s 'toon!
