Well it's good to do things legally from time to time. :) I didn't like that episode as much the second time I saw it. I start liking it when Angel goes, "One of you is going to betray me." And Spike raises his hand.
Then they all go to fight and those type fo scenes always give me the thrills because they're just so much fun. It's like slo mo walking scenes. :sigh: greatness.
It's like Peter Pan, "I do believe in Lindsey! I do! I do!" Nevermind that that was the gayest scene in a movie ever. It seems to fit. :claps hands:
Wesley: I guess we'll have to do this the old fashined way Vale: Yes. I guess we will (produces machete)
No sign of Wes being the first one to pull a knife?!!! Weird cuts!
On the plus side, in the last ad break they've just announced they're going to be showing Buffy every night from 6pm and the "best of Angel" as voted for by us plebs on Tuesdays - and if we vote for out favourite we can win a signed script - woo hoo!
Sorry, trying not to cry - Wes' death scene is playing behind me right now...
Sky One cut things to shreds - people in this country still haven't seen the full rape scene from Seeing Red unless they've downloaded it or bought the DVDs. The channel is so conservative it's unbelievable!
I've just voted - there's only four choices this week: There's no place like Plrtz Glrb Slouching Towards Bethlehem Awakening Sacrifice
None of them would rank in my favourites - I went for Slouching... because it's the best of the lot to be honest. Maybe over the next few weeks there'll be a better set of options...
I wondered about that. I was sitting there thinking, why hasn't Wesley pulled out a weapon. I really expected him to pull out a gun, as that seems to have been his weapon of choice for the last couple of years.
Yeah - he had a little switchblade thing that he flicked out when he said "we'll have to do this the old fashioned way" but Sky didn't show that which kida sucked. I'm glad they didn't have him use a gun, even if he'd succeeded then it would have been too impersonal for his final action in the show - this was low down, dirty, personal and ultimately - heartbreakingly - futile. Good summation of his character as a whole I thought.
Actually, on re-watching it, he did have a little switchbladey thing in the palm of his hand. I blame me having been drinking for missing it the first time round, what's your excuse?
