I got some bad news last night, right as we starting this huge scene with loads of characters on _end_of_days my neighbour from across the street came to the door. My next door neighbour died yesterday morning. She was a really sweet old lady who took me under her wing after my mum died. She'd been ill for a while, she was actually pretty much housebound to be honest but she went out of her way to come and see when she could and call through if she couldn't.

So, apologies for Xander suddenly going a little monosyllabic and fading into the background at one point last night. Might explain Vi's little outburst as well.
