*headdesk*
Grrr. So the new awards site has been up for around 12 hours now, I'm kinda taken aback with how quickly the nominations came in initially and I spent about three hours after the launch updating the nominees page as more were added.

Obviously not every category has a nomination in yet so instead of overcrowding the page I just put the category in as and when one came up. That's still my plan to be honest.

So imagine my disgust when I get up this morning to find that some small-minded little prat tells everyone not to nominate him because there's only slash-pairings categories. Um. No. That's all I got last night. There are categories for het pairings as well as non-pairings. Read the fucking site next time!

I get that some people really have a problem with slash and that's fine with me, hell it's the reason I split the shipper fics into two sections for crying out loud! I'm going out of my way to accomodate these people who really don't like seeing it!

So to have a jerk like this slam the "sight" as he called it without even bothering to have a proper look? Gah!!!

and this is the same jerk who can't work out the upload method on INAP and whom [livejournal.com profile] smileawhile and I have been loading fics for!

Um, what's so difficult about uploading to INAP? I'm not the most technologically minded person (I'm sure you know that by now), but it's *so* simple, even a blind monkey could figure that one out.

Sorry about the confuddledness this morning. That's what I get for not being able to get to sleep until four this morning, then being awake again at quarter to eight.

INAP
There's absolutely nothing difficuly about loading to INAP at all - the only slight problem is the Round Robin thing and even that's not really a problem.

This guy's excuse is that he's "too busy updating other sites" to do it.

My initial reaction this morning was to delete his account from INAP but I managed to curb that - it's not really his fault he's apparently a pathological idiot.

And what's worse is he's actually gotten some nominations that he's already said he'll refuse. Wonder what he'll say when I email him about them....

Re: INAP
Just a thought, does this gut write slash? If he doesn't why was he worried someone would nominate one of his stories? If he does, huh?

Re: INAP
He's one of the vehemently anti-slash writers out there so he definitely doesn't write it - he doesn't want to acknowledge it exists.

Basically his problem seems to boil down to the fact that the Slash writers and readers were quickest off the mark after the launch and right now from looking at the nominees page there aren't any het ships there. There are, I got a whole bunch of them this morning and the page will be updated as soon as I get home and upload it.

He just saw something he didn't like, couldn't see what he was looking for straight away and decided to slam the site down for it.

Prat.
