So I did it again

listened to a CD I hadn't heard for awhile and then story ideas came rushing over me.

I just want to have a wee kid from the Drum say to Faith, "Ho, missus, gonnie gies wan o' they fags?" I can picture her reaction and I really want to write it now!

(translation - I would like to have a small child from the Drumchapel area of Glasgow say to Faith, "Excuse me madam, would you mind giving me one of your cigarettes?")

The CD was Final Straw by Snow Patrol in case anyone else wants to get attacked by plot bunnies....

I'm serious about it, I think it may end being the album I use for your BBBFic challenge to be honest. (although whether it'll end up in the Drum I'm not sure, it's very tempting though!)

I was going to use 'Little Kix' by Mansun as the album but 'Final Straw' is just so much better!

I'm feeling a lot better now, which is in direct contrast to yesterday where I woke up feeling okay, and got steadily worse throughout the day. Still think I'll take tomorrow off though.

I actually have a whole plot mapped out in my head - it's so much fun! I will finish Crimson Regret first though. Promise!

liz_marcs posted an essay to

ship_manifesto about writing Xander/Faith and it's made me really want to finish CR now! (not for the sake of finishing it, more for the wanting to get the story told thing.)

If you're feeling up to it later, how do you feel about a Xander & Whistler meeting on EOD? It'll be a short one, but I've got some ideas I want to play about with.

Yeah I'm up for it later. Did you read the Angel/Whistler post the other night? I'm keeping hold of Whistlers 'Start acting like a champion' speech. I'm sure I can use it in a fic somewhere.

Haven't really been reading CR *hangs head in shame*, haven't really been reading much of anything lately.

Cool, it'll be this evening - I'll log into YIM when I get home and tell you my ideas...

I know you've not been reading CR (*sob*) S'okay, I don't mind. It got a little stuck on me when I realised that Faith's plan kinda sucks so I froze. It's cool now though, I know how to dig myself out of that particular hole and now all I have to do is decide if that's where I'm going to end it or if it'll go on a bit longer.

It's on the list to be written now, it's grown from a bunny to being a planned out story...

I know I haven't posted it yet, but thanks for sending WaDaDM 5 back to me, it's just a matter of me sitting down and working through it. (I'm leaving the "chicklet" thing in, but I'm changing it slightly - I'll explain when I post it)
