Cinema question
Going to the cinema tonight and looking for suggestions for what I should see.

The field is pretty much wide open at the moment, except I saw The Village last week (and while I liked it I think I wan't to see something different today!)

So - suggestions please?

A group of us went to the cinema on Sunday so you'd think I could be helpful....but I saw The Village - so not so helpful after all! Two of us saw The Village and two saw Dodgeball - sounds like Dodgeball was fun, so that might be worth a try if that's the sort of humour that appeals.

Hi Beck! Thanks - Sharon ([livejournal.com profile] engelsteorra) has a friend who was involved in getting Dodgeball greenlit for production so she's keen for me to go see it so that her friend keeps his job... *g*

Not sure about it, it looks silly and Alan Tudyk's in it so it might be worth a look. I dunno... Motorcycle Diaries is looking tempting right now, as is Bourne Supremacy (pure eye candy in that though!)

Sometimes the silliness of the type of humour I imagine is in Dodgeball really winds me up - which is why I went for The Village! If you're in the right mood for it though, it could be a laugh.

The Bourne Supremacy might be good - I'm fairly sure Robert Ludlum's a pretty good writer (I think it's Robert Ludlum's book anyway) - but I thought the first one was a bit thin plot wise and too focused on the action. If Supremacy's supposed to be better plot-wise, then that would probably be worth a watch. Motorcycle diaries is supposed to be very good - but possibly a bit serious and worthy for a sunny evening. There's also Stage Beauty doing the rounds if you fancy seeing people in costume, come to that if you fancy seeing people in costume you could equally watch Spiderman 2! *g*

See how still I don't help, but just throw up more variables?!

Beck.

btw, I think I may only do 2 nights at the Sheraton after all. Not very Halloweeny I know, but I'm finding thinking about the cost of 3 nights stressy making!
