Finally!!!
So it took me all weekend, on and off, but I've finally got all the votes sent for the WKA so far tallied. Does that sentence make sense? My brain's too addled to make sense of it.

Makes me giggle though that despite the "you cannot vote more than once" rules, people are still sending the exact same votes one after the other seconds apart. I know it's all from one person because there's an IP tracker built in to the voting system!

It's only happened twice that I can tell, because after 300+ votes all those IP numbers were making my eyes hurt, but the two times it happened both of the voters sent the same vote in four times in a row.

They weren't counted.

Now maybe I can get away from admin for a while and actually do something I enjoy for a bit (like maybe read some of the fics that are nominated!)

:P

For your information, I am currently listening to Evanescene again. Which I only do when I'm writing a specific fic these days.

How was MK?

(BTW, I'm not actually at my PC - well obviously I am right now 'cause I'm typing this... - I'm writing in my study which for some reason isn't where the computer is, so if you answer and it looks like I'm ignoring you, I'm not!)

And oh yeah, new EOD character... [livejournal.com profile] nhamo_eod - what can I say? I caved.

Apart from the party on the Saturday night, which was a bit of a piss take of a party, it was okay. If the party had been even half decent I might have said it was a good weekend, but it wasn't, so it was just okay.

Didn't get a chance to speak to Nick, he didn't go to the party (Strange as the organisers had confirmed that he had confirmed that he was definately going. Just one of the many piss takes.) So couldn't ask him about the lighter or staying in your spare room.

BTW did I mention that the party was a complete piss take.

On a Nick related topic, how's the Linoleum(sp?)?

All those replies. which to answer...

this one'll do!

That sucks about the party really - did you get into the Buffy cast talk thing? Erin from the NB.com forums is all hyped because she got to ask a question (I know the feeling!) and said he was a sweetie - like I couldn't have told her that. *grin*

I gave up on the lino, I need to get some kinda spongy underlay I think because the floor underneath is in really bad condition - the people who had the house before me put wall tiles on the floor using some kind of toxic unmovable adhesive so there's no way to get them off agin. I'm leaving the old lino down for the moment and plan to tell the surveyer it's getting done professionally soon... *lie*

Hehehehe at the 'getting done professionally'.

Yeah, got into the talk. Got to ask Nick a question as well. Asked him if he was happy with the development of Xander throughout Season Seven considering there was several storylines that never came to pass? Wasn't phrased exactly like that 'cos I said something about the B/X storyline that never happened. Did Erin say what question she asked?

And what was his answer? C'mon - you can't leave me hanging like that!

Erin asked what he thought about working in the UK, apparently he said he'd like to do theatre - maybe a musical. (I'm not sure if he was joking or not, 'cause at Fusion he made it pretty clear he didn't want to do theatre at all.)

BTW, while I'm online - is "wise up to yourself" a Scottish expression? Is there a US equivalent that you can think of?
