No going back now...  
... appointment is booked, deposit is paid. This time next week I'll have my tattoo.

I'm all hyped about it now!

*sing-song voice* I'm getting a tattoo, I'm getting a tattoo!

(and all I can hear going round my head right now is a line from Steve Carlson's song 'Pinata Novia' that goes "And I know that my tattooed heart may make you lose control"... *grin*)

Edit that's Steve in my icon by the way, I forgot I had that one!

What's your tattoo going to be and where are you getting it?


I know how you feel, I was all hyped when I booked my appointment. Oddly enough I started to get scared about half an hour before I went in. (I have a black ankh on my right shoulder blade ... well just by it.)

It'll be a surprise, it's hand drawn by me but it is copied from a design that appeared somewhere you might recognise...

I'm going for the right shoulder blade as well - and bizarrely enough I nearly chickened out of my design and went with the ankh. How strange would that have been that we'd have the same tattoo?

I will put a photograph up along with the sketch as soon as it's done!
