okay, so the neck-pain is getting worse now.

I've been doing little neck-rolls all morning to make sure it didn't freeze up but it's not really working.

On top of that I've got the boss asking me stupid questons which she can find the answers to just as quickly as I can and then not listening to my answer - case in point: "Shona, did you add this database last week?"
Me: "I don't think so but I really can't remember."
"Did you notice when you added it if we had more than one title in it?"
"I don't remember adding it."
"Oh. Did you notice if we had lots of titles in it?"
*headdesk*

Can I go home now?

Ouch! *huggggggggggggggggggggs*

I had stuff done to my neck this morning by my chiropractor. Largely helpful though I reckon it's going to hurt this evening...

Are you getting any jaw tension as well? I tend to find that's often the root of the problem.

other than grinding my teeth togeth to stop me snapping at my boss, not really. :)

It's really cold in the office as well so I'm hunched up to keep warm. That can't be helping. Long hot shower as soon as I get home is called for I think.

you want to tell my boss?

:)

Yep, send her my way. I'll tell her where she can stick her job as well if you like.

Tell her it had no titles.

And then go home.

If you can find it, get one of those microwavable heated buddies. The have moist heat and really held the neck thing. I've been using one this weekend. Try a drugstore.

I've got an electrical heat pad thing that I was going to use - but that's a dry heat. I'll try to stop off at a chemists on the way home and see if I can pick one up. Thanks!

Thanks - I'm okay, was going to say fine but that would be a lie. I do actually have a neck support pillow as well which did help a lot last night so thanks for the tip!
