Didn't get to see Lost yet and avoiding spoilers is getting much harder now. So, I'm hoping to take a half day off work and go home to watch it and maybe throw in a little Christmas shopping along the way - although I'm thinking a Friday afternoon in December really isn't the kind of time I want to think about finding a parking space in Braehead... *grin*

Ah well, thank goodness for internet shopping!

Anyone got any ideas what I can get my sister? She doesn't wear jewelry, she doesn't listen to music, she's not particularly into films, she's not into TV, she doesn't read much, she hates gadgets, and I've no clue what clothes size she is post-pregnancy (she looks bigger than she was but I don't want to go up a size in case she gets insulted)

She's a nightmare to buy for. Any suggestions?

(Caffeine update - yesterday was 3 coffees and a glass of cola, so far today there's been no coffee and I'm feeling okay. Not great, a little headachey, but a hell of a lot better than I was on Wednesday!)

I caved and had a cup of tea when I came in from work, but that's it so far. One cup of tea in a whole day. And I do feel so much better for it!

Something for the house? A decorative thing, or a practical (but non-gadgety) thing or a soft-furnishey thing? Such as a pretty lampshade? Or vouchers for some sort of personal service such as a makeover or an aromatherapy session or a massage or a tattoo? Or if you're really desperate there's always smellies...

My Christmas shopping has been somewhat simplified this year - it's going to be rugs for most of the family!

household stuff might be a plan, she actually loves old black and white city-scape photographs. Hmmm. I have an idea...

My dad was an amateur photographer, a pretty good one at that, and he took a whole series of shots of Glasgow which turned out pretty well. I might see if I can find the negatives and get them done up as prints for her.

Thanks!

Ooh, that sounds like a good idea... personal touch!

What do you reckon to the idea of Angel going to tell Xander after finishing up with Dru and Ethan? Just EoDing right now.

Emmy and I were chatting last night and since the scene we've been doing is taking so long to finish, we're going to throw in a little twist to it. Xander isn't in LA right now. During his confrontation with the First, the magicks flared and he ended up teleporting away from the city. (Or he will have once we've written it!) He's making his way back, or will be once we finally get the scene finished... but it could be a day or two before he gets there.

Gosh, I'd forgotten there was a Xander/First scene still going. Xander can teleport??? Cool. Sounds like a good twist. So he would have been gone by Monday when the Angel/Dru/Ethan/Giles scene happened. That one's jjust finished btw.

sorry, was doing that meme thing there - yes, he'd have been long gone by then. I need to go catch up on that one!
