First footing  
I'm not tall (unless you're exceptionally short yourself), I'm not dark (unless you count my sense of humour), and to most of you I'm not much of a stranger, I don't have black bun (because I can't stand the stuff), I don't have coal (because I have a gas fire), I do have some damn fine single malt whisky though - will that do? Allow me to be your First Foot.

(First footing is a good old fashioned tradition to bring in the New Year.)

Ha' a Guid Ne'er!!! (and lang may yer lum reek!)

May 2005 bring you everything you hope it will and more.

Bit late for the first foot. My brother in Edinburgh has an even worse computer than my mum in Dundee, which I didn't think possible. In fact it's showing every sign of being close to dying a death completely. But anyway, in the spirit of things, *takes deep breath*
