So I'd kinda forgotten how thin my living room wall is. I have a new neighbour who apparently likes loud music. So do I, but I'd like to think I have a modicum of taste.

One thing my new neighbour should probably know about me is that I can be a stubborn bitch when I want to be. I really didn't appreciate the slightly odd boy-band version of a Bee Gees song providing the soundtrack to an episode of Stargate: Atlantis I forgot to watch a couple of weeks ago.

So now? I have my TV on channel 454. Kerrang. Loud. I can still hear the bassline from next door over the top of it as well, but if I can hear their crap then I know they can hear what I'm playing.

Yeah, I'm feeling petty right about now - as well as not being able to finish this damn story, my water boiler seems to have decided to stop working and I've no food in the house. They aren't related in any way at all, other than they're minor annoyances which are on the verge of being final straw material.
