My boss is at a seminar all day and I actually have very little to keep me busy workwise.

How much writing do you think I can get done in a day?

Depends on whether you're writing from scratch or if you've got an idea of what you're going to be doing with the story.

But either way, you'll probably be able to get quite a bit done.

I always know when I start writing where I'm going to ultimately end up - well, except in EOD 'cause that's thrown a lot of curve balls my way (who knew Vi was a junkie?!). And one of the things I'm considering writing is pretty much finished to be honest so that'll be one thing out of the way anyway!

Now I just need to think about Crimson Regret, WaDaDM, the Lost crossover, Slayerless, Final Straw and all the others that are bubbling around in the ideas melting pot that is my brain...

I wonder if you'll ever have a time where you'll be able to say, "I have no WIPs." *grins*

I actually kinda dread that thought to be honest. I mean, I want to finish the stories I'm currently writing but I don't want to ever be without a project on the go.

Although I like and enjoy writing, I also like the peace between writing stories. I obviously have TBOSS on the go, but I haven't really thought about that in months. And TSttW, but Missy writing the next chapter of that so there's nothing I can do with it at the minute.

I always have ideas for stories floating about my brain, but a lot of them don't get written or the ideas for them get incorporated into other things.

Since I started writing Destiny I've never had a day without at least one story as a work in progress.

Even before then really, since Sleepless Knight actually predates that and even though I haven't written any of it for a while is showing no signs of being anywhere near finished.

Since I started writing fanfic I've never had a day without a WIP either as TBOSS was the first story I ever posted a chapter of.

But I've started thinking again about trying to get it finished again, I just need to re-acquaint myself with what I've already written.

The story I said was almost finished? So not.

I want this one to end because it's holding up the other stories now, but every time I sit down to write it I get more and more little snippets of ideas wanting to add themselves to it.

I know how it's going to end, I more or less have the final line written - I'm just being waylaid by plot bunnies on the route. Gah!

Isn't it annoying when that happens. With TBOSS I've got the epilogue all but written, it's just getting there that'll be the problem.

It's driving me nuts to be honest.

Although I've kinda decided to end it now. If I don't it'll run on and on forever.

Loads and loads and loads and loads and loads! *grins hopefully*

Just made the mistake of starting to read the second part of Liz's "Cuckoo in the Nest" and am now completely hooked on it.

So maybe not so much writing but plenty of reading?

I would hardly describe reading anything by Liz Marcs as a mistake! Need to read Cuckoo and Water, but got an LJ-reading list piled quite high already!

Never a mistake to read Liz's fic, potentially a mistake when I'm in the middle of writing my own...

*g*

Just finished it and about to head off for lunch... maybe if I use a notepad instead of the computer to write this I won't get so distracted...
