grrrr
Okay, so I hate the Bee Gees. I pretty much thing they're the spawn of Satan. More than the Gibb brothers though, I hate the re-vamped boy band versions of Bee Gees songs. Y'know, the Boyzone and Westlife and Steps versions (yes, I'm aware Steps aren't a boyband but in my head they're in the same category - manufactured crap)

So how come my next door neighbour apparently loves this crap? I just got some random version of "Night Fever" blaring through the division wall there.

Of course, as soon as the volume on the other side of the wall went up so did the volume on my tv. I hope my new neighbour likes ST: Voyager.

*grin*

Maybe you should try blaring a Misfits album at your neighbor. When I was a slip of a girl and wanted a seat all by myself on a crowded bus, I would sing along to the Misfits tape playing on my Walkman and no one would even sit next to me when the seat by me was the only one left! There's nothing like lyrics such as "Collect the heads of little girls and put 'em on my wall" to make people leave you severely alone!

LOL! When I lived in a flat I used to have a Faith No More CD that I kept just for those times my neighbour there was pissing me off. I used to put it on full blast then take the dog for a walk. When I got back they'd generally stopped arguing (that's what the noise was on their part - they were a young couple who argued a lot, after I moved I heard they split up. Maybe not having loud early 90s rock to drown out the arguments made them realise they really weren't suited.)

Good for you! Which Faith No More CD was it? Was it the one with "We Care A Lot" on it? Because that would have been nice and ironic!

Think it was Angel Dust actually, can't quite remember off the top of my head. I probably still have it somewhere actually!

Ah, so it's later Faith No More! That's cool. I like their earlier, more punk-tinged stuff, myself. But then again, I'm older than you!

Thank you! I appreciate your kind attempts to distract me from the fact that I am old enough to be the mother of several people on my flist!!!!

You're only as old as you feel. And how many times have I heard that since I turned 30?!

Sorry.

It's weird that most of my friends at work are all 25. I'm startign to feel like I'm surrounding myself with younger people so that I feel younger myself... *sigh*

I didn't even know you were 30; I thought you were about 25, actually! You at least look young online, so that should be a comfort!

*blushes*

when I turned 30 in December there the department bought me a bunch of flowers which I put in the sink in the staff loos to keep them in water during the day. I had so many people come up to me and say "You're never 30!!" all day that it just made me grin. Of course now I'm feeling it - my skin seems to have decided that turning 30 is the same as turning 13 and my excema and acne have broken out again... *sigh*

I have this vision of beautiful flowers in a gas station restroom now...it's kind of macabre, actually! I can find angst in absolutely anything!!! AUGH!!!

I've been told that drinking a cup of hot water and lemon juice as your first drink in the morning is really good for clearing up complexions (I've never stopped with the acne thing!), so I'm giving that a go at the moment.

I'll let you know how the experiment progresses.
