I'd forgotten how much I love this!  
Took the day off work today - I was meant to take my car in to get its MOT done but I woke up late so I'm taking it next week instead.

Right now I'm sitting here doing some basic XHTML coding. I've spent so long learning all the spangly things I wanted to do with PHP and JavaScript that I'd forgotten how rewarding it is just to code a normal page with nothing but text and have it look good.

New site is almost ready - I know I said that last week but this time I really do mean it - or would if I could find my glasses (I don't need them all the time but looking at code all day means I kinda need them and I've no clue where they are. *sigh*)

So I'm going to have fun today coding all these pages and getting in touch with more authors I'd love to archive on the site. I'm tempted to do an unveiling today at some point, but I'd rather have all the content in my little notepad on there before I do that. So I guess that should spur me into actually getting back to it then!

Did some coding myself last night, just some pictures of a meeting with people from another forum, but it does feel good to look at a page and think that you coded that all in by hand.

I'm always here if you want a second opinion before unveiling as well *G*

well since you're the one who helped me launch this particular ship way back when (yes, you were right as to which site it is I'm working on) it'd be kinda horrible of me if I didn't give you a sneak peak!

Give me a couple of hours to get some more content up there and you may just find a link popping into your email inbox...

Make it the jackiejones hotmail one then, (although I'm not sure you have my new home one) as I can check that from work.

Don't blame me, I just happen to be good at breeding plot/idea bunnies *shrug*, although seeing as I don't get bitten by them that often.

That said, I've carried on working on the Tales of the Slayer style challenge, and I think it might end up quite long, so when I've a little bit more of that written, I think I'll be posting it.

Completely Off-Topic
So. I watched the first four episodes of Coupling last night. It was very funny. You should let your friend make you watch it. Definitely worth the time.
