Dear Neighbours
The separating wall between our houses is rather thin. Please stop battering things against it at 6.30 in the morning when I'm already sick! And schoolkids? My garden is not a shortcut to the school. The school is ten streets away and the shortcut you think you're taking? 100 yards if that. Plus, while my dog might not be the biggest dog in the world there's a freaking Alsation in the garden behind mine!!!

You know when you were growing up and there was always that one person who lived in your neighbourhood who you dreaded the ball going into their garden because they were so grouchy and hated kids? When did I become that person?

I don't hate kids, honest, I just hate them running through my garden and winding my dog up...

Can ya tell I'm still feeling like crap?

Awww *hugs* Being ill isn't helping your mood, neither is getting woken up at half six in the morning.

My neighbour's a postman so he's actually up almost as early as I am most mornings, but today he either got an attack of the clumsies and fell all over his house or he started throwing things against the wall.

Plus he has about five people staying with him in a not-all-that-large two bedroom house and my God they talk loudly...

I'm just ebing a grouch I know, he probably hates hearing my weird mix of music tastes every day so... :)

You're allowed to be a grouch when you're ill, it's one of the few benefits.

heh!

I should have a camera handy - I have a duvet on the couch for me to curl up under when I feel really bad and a bit of it is on the floor right now. Drammy has curled up on that one little bit and is snoring his head off now... He looks really uncomfortable but so cute!

I'm worse than you are! When we still lived in San Gabriel, I called the principal of the high scholl on our street and yelled at him about his hooligan students...of course they DID vandalize my car and one of them broke into and robbed my mother's church( we proved this with the help of the bank where the little thief cashed the stolen checks, but the cops didn't care cause she was a juvenile and refused to arrest her)! But I also yelled at him about their behaviour in general and told him he should have representatives from various prisons come to visit on Career Day as that is where most of his students would wind up spending their adult lives! My mother calls me "the old fogey"!
