End Of Days players
Okay, so I know the game is in a state of implosion at the moment, but we have three four players nominated over at [livejournal.com profile] slayerchoiceaim here and here You have to be a member to vote in the poll but it's quick and simple to join. (sorry Sam, didn't spot the Angel voting had started as well!)

On another tack, the staffing office in the library just called me to tell me I can't go back to work on Monday without a doctor's certificate and I can't get one of those without an appointment. Given that the surgery is closed for lunch and it's Friday what are the chances of me getting an appointment before Monday? Pretty much zero I think.

So despite the fact that I'm on the mend, I might not be able to go back to work any time soon. How randomly strange is that?!

Voted yesterday! (Though not for myself of course.)

Enforced days off even when well... has an upside to it I guess. So long as you get sick pay.

Just phoned the doctor and they can get me a certificate no problem but my doctor isn't in till Monday so won't be able to do it until then. I then phoned the staffing office again and they're saying I can come in as soon as I have the certificate which will probably be Monday morning. Except the surgery doesn't open until 9am and I should really be at work by then. In Glasgow. 35 miles away.

I have no clue what I'm going to do about it now but it's looking like a Tuesday start back might be needed. Joy.

Considering how unwell you've been, an extra day at home won't do you any harm.

(When I say things like this I can actually hear myself channelling my parents, but somehow I can't seem to stop it! Obviously another sign that the aging process is taking effect:()

heh! I dunno, next you'll be telling me to make sure I wear a jacket outside... *g*

I guess I'm just feeling guilty becayse I know I am getting better so I should be going back to work. The fact that there's this silly little bureaucratic rule stopping me is just annoying.

Well don't put it on inside, otherwise you won't feel the benefit of it later!*g*

Sho, make sure you wear a jacket when you go outside, it's cold out there.

Wow, work actually wanting you to stay off rather than come back. That's very unusual, at least at my work. Glad you are starting to feel better :)
