Heh - the guitas one surprised me a little as well, I'd forgotten I'd put that in there. I learned to play acoustic guitar when I was 11/12 and then ended up having to give it up because I had too many other things going on. It's something I've always regretted doing and I wish I had the time to go back and pick it up again.

'Don't Come Home' - I wondered which of those odd ones someone would ask me to explain and this was it, huh? It's a Kane (http://www.kanemusic.com) song (and is actually one of my favourites from the album)

That shows how much I've listened to the Kane cd doesn't it, ooopps.

Not a full answer, but I always thought your journal title was a reference to those people you seem to psychically link to, but I suppose Andy's thoughts make more sense.

Heh - like you and Gil you mean? :)

Actually it's taken from a Tori Amos song (I think it's Tear in your hand - the one with the Sandman reference (If you need me, me and Neil will be hanging out with the Dream King. Neil says hi by the way.) and when I was re-naming the journal it seemed to fit. This journal used to be called "That's my girl..." with the subtitle "...always doing the stupid thing" just 'cause I adore that line from the show, but it didn't really fit me so I changed it.

I keep thnking I should change my bio to read something like "I hate my job and want to design websites and write for a living" - that would cover pretty much everything I think... *g*

The guitars interest, I learned to play when I was really young and had to give it up. When I went to Uni (second attempt, after I'd already dropped out of St Andrews) one of my friends in the Hall of Residence (I guess the US equivalent of that is dorm?) was a fantastic guitar player and she and I used to have little jam sessions from time to time. We were both 'high on life' (she said to stay on the good side of the law) and it sounded great to us. Probably not to everyone else since on my own I sound terrible. I miss playing, even if it sounds terrible, and I really miss having a guitar around.

'Sweet Carolina Rain' - another song title, again a Kane (http://www.kanemusic.com) song. Not especially one of their best but it's cool.

My Charlie peanut butter icon, to explain - on the show Lost, Charlie was trying to reach out to Claire and she said the one thing she missed more than anything was peanut butter. He swore he'd get some for her but there was none anywhere on the island, all he foudn was an empty jar. So he brought her the jar and they did those whole really cute pretending scene where they 'ate' the peanut butter. Very sweet and, in spite of prediliction for angst, this cemented my OTP for Lost. :) (the icon itself I may rework, it's a little on the pink side and it's not as clear as I'd like, but hey that's the perfectionist in me talking I think!)

Wow! I'm glad to know about the guitar thing; for some crazy reason, it's endearing!

AHHH, a Lost thing! I've never even seen a commercial for the show. When it comes to Lost...I'm lost!
