So... I can't quite remember whether my first deadline for [livejournal.com profile] with_character is tomorrow or Friday, but suffice to say I've not written it yet. Meant to do it last night, I honestly did, but Placebo distracted me and I ended up writing something completely different. Gah!

So I'm taking a half day today, not just to get this fic and essay done, but mostly. Thank goodness for flexi-time! Now I have to go and actually get some work done so that I can leave at 1...

Character Study 3 is due on the 23rd and the Xander Season Seven essay is due on the 28th.

Yeah, I just looked at that myself. Crap.

Ah well, I will get it done today. I have to. And the essay? Well, I've got abour 500 words done and it covers the main theme I wanted to touch on so I could just finish it by saying "and then he lost his eye and mooched for the next couple of episodes 'cause the writers didn't know what to do with him." *g*

Hehehehehe. Least you'll have Saturday and Sunday to write it and can post it Sunday night. And how tempted am I to do an Oz one for November? When would I be able to grab one?

I'm almost tempted to grab a Faith character study but I dunno. I'll see.

I'm in a motivated mood today so as long as I don't start watching Gilmore Girls when I get in ([livejournal.com profile] engelsteorra is determined to get me hooked on every programme she watches!) then I should get a good bunch done.

Gilmore Girls is okay, I've watched a few episodes but can never remember when it's on so keep forgetting about it. Plus I've visited the set so spotting places on it that I recognise keeps me entertained as well.

Sharon loaned me the DVDs (region 1) and I spent all Sunday afternoon watching it and loving every second. So I have to not watch it today and get some writing done. I also have to not make the icon set from TYG/WAY? I want to make.

Yes you must get the ficlet done. *grins* And just volunteered to do a character study for Oz. The idea of doing one of the season long one's intrigues me but I haven't written an essay in the seven years since I left Uni and I'm not sure if I could really do a decent essay. I suppose I won't know unless I try huh?

See, I haven't written an essay in almost as long and it's a lot harder than I remembered it being.

Maybe I should've listened to Mr MacAuley when he told me my talents lay outwith writing these things... *g*

Hehehehe, when I was doing my A-levels my History teachers forced me to get an our a weeks tuition for essay writing. It was free and provided by the school, but they did think my essay writing was that bad.
