Done and almost dusted  
Posted the ficlet for [livejournal.com profile] with_character last night. The winner? Well it was still a tie by the time I came to post so I went with the one I was happier with and which hasn't been done by other writers (and probably better than my take on it!). The Return is right there.

The others? Will be posted right here this weekend - possibly even tomorrow - so thank you all for voting!

I knew what I wanted to do with the season four ficlet straight off the bat really, mostly because or a while now I'd been using this avatar which is from the episode in question

When I came to post the ficlet though, I realised it was way too orange for some reason so I remade it to this

I made that pretty quickly and (even if I do say so myself) I really like it. So I want to redo the layout of my journal to go along the same kind of lines, only problem is I still have the essay to write for Monday... plus I owe [livejournal.com profile] smhwpf the next chapter of WaDaDM that I promised him weeks ago.

Still, at least I'm off work tomorrow! (although I wasn't in the leave folder as being off - luckily I have the email I sent to my boss in case anyone says anything!)

Nah, you're being all nice and patient with regards to it (as is Sam) but I did give him a date I'd have the next chapter to him to be beta read. That date was two weeks ago and I've only really written another couple of hundred words.

You on messenger just now? I wouldn't mind running something past you about the story if you don't mind?

Heh, at least she promosed to give you F/B on your fics. All those fics and drabbles I've posted to BBBFic recently and NOT ONE has had any feedback.

I'll be completely honest here Andy, you tend to write Oz-centric fics and he just doesn't interest me all that much as a character.

It's not just you. I've had no feedback from anybody. I thought that at least one person on there would have liked or not liked one of them enough to say something.

Feedback's quite sparse on that list right now though, I think because it's been relatively quiet on there for a while people are not really checking it as often as they used to and fics might be getting missed. The last part of CR I posted only got two reviews.

I know it's pretty sparse. It's just with no feedback, I don't even know if anybody's reading them and the last couple of ones that I've done I haven't posted simply because of that.

Plus you've said in the past that you make a point of F/Bing every fic that gets posted. So it made me wonder I'd done that made you specifically not F/B any of the fics that I've posted recently.

But yes, it's always been a favourite scene of mine as well which is why I was pretty happy when it looked as though this was going to win the vote (until Denise and Sharon conspired against me and voted for The Lie... *g*)

It's the mutual self-flagellation society here today isn't it? I'm glad I waited to do the coding for the Ballad... because HJ just gave a nifty little HTML tip which I'm using to it's fullest! That page will definitely be done tonight (I've coded it and previewed it in Geocities so all I need to do is chop the main jpeg up into tune 1 and tune 2 and load them all onto ML)
