Having huge problems with my connection right now but I had to come online just to say this:

Doctor Who Rocks!!!

Christopher Eccleston does this odd manic cheerfulness with is just... fantastic! Billie 'Because We Want To' Piper is... okay I guess, I get the feeling she'll grow into the part.

All in all? This whole new look really rocks!

I've got to agree with you. This is the first episode of Doctor Who I've seen and I will definetly keep watching. Chris Eccleston rocks!

Yep, I was impressed to. Not a Christopher Eccleston fan but he seemed perfect and well, Billie was good too. Ok, so she is also fit and that helps :-)
Looking forward to next week.

I watched last night too, and completely agree..... how comfy did it feel to hear that theme tune starting :) or is that just me LOL.
I thought Billie did a pretty good job considering, and Christopher Eccleston was fantastic I had my doubts too, but was really impressed.

It was a rocky thing! (Saw the repeat on 3. Missed the first showing, having somehow managed to remain unaware of exactly when it was starting).

As people have said, CE was great, BP was way better than feared, and they've got the whole irony and snappy dialogue thing down, along with some good creepiness. Did anyone else think "Dawn and the puppet henchmen" when Rose was surrounded by the plastic people?
