Marginally better today
So my hair doesn't look quite as bad as it did yesterday. It's still bad and needs fixed, but I'm resigned to that now. At least I don't feel like I have to lock myself away from the public eye until it grows out a little.

But seriously, I said layers, I didn't say 'cut it really short on top (3 inches at most) and leave the back alone'...

Off to Glasgow soon, sister was supposed to pick me up in her new shiny car four minutes ago but hasn't shown up yet. Possibly she's still sleeping. I need to find a salon that I can afford which will also manage to fit me in today. Not going to be easy in Glasgow I don't think.

*sigh*

If you can bear it, contact the first salon about paying for the second cut. I know some salons in the US have insurance for such things, because a friend of mine once left a place in such hysterics they didn't even ask her to pay (believe me, she's not histrionic; it was unspeakable). She sent a roll of film of every angle of the hair (which I shot) and got the difference between what the first cut would have cost and what it cost to fix it. The insurance actually paid that twice.

I hope you get hair that makes you happy, and soon!

I refused to pay at the first salon and the second wasn't too expensive so all in I really only paid for one haircut. If I'd thought about it I could have gone to a top-notch salon out of my price range and charged it to the first place.

Hopefully there will never be a next time, but if there is I'll keep it in mind!

UMMMMM, I guess we shouldn't discuss my life in hair. I've had more than a few bad hair experiences...sorry!
