Taking a half day today for no reason other than I want to. *grin*

I'm going to go home, gripe over the fact my screen-select dvds won't have arrived yet (they were sent out last night - Amores Perros, High Fidelity and Gothika are currently somewhere in the Royal Mail system). Might watch some season four Buffy episodes since my next [livejournal.com profile] with_character essay is due on the 22nd and I've not even started it yet. I've got the hook though, and I don't hate the season, so it shouldn't be as annoyingly elusive as the season seven one was!

Plus, WKA voting closes just after that on the 25th so I should maybe think about making a start on some of the prize plaques for that!

Right - off to annoy everyone with my cough which is now firmly in my throat instead of in my chest (has to be an improvement, right?), and not think about the fact I have nothing to do for the next two and a half hours....

ETA Knew there was something else I was going to say. I'm going on the Make Poverty History: The Final Push march on the 2nd of July and am looking for ways to get to Edinburgh. I've done some research and there's some coaches leaving from Glasgow which have been booked by others going on the march. There are a few places left on some of them and I was just wondering if any of my Glasgow buddies wanted to meet up and head over?

Sounds like you're planning on having a busy day.

Still not good with the cough - although throat is probably a little better as it's not messing with your lungs any more, which is never a good thing - plus it's a darn sight easier to soothe a raw throat than it is to relieve a phlegmy chest.

Watching Buff sounds like a good plan though, wish I was there with you *grumbles at having to work*.

I'd say that a non-chesty cough is better, it doesn't feel like you crack a rib every time you cough.
I was thinking of going to the march but it's on a work day, one week later and I could have gone.

Talking of MPH, did you know that Starhawk (who I know you admire) is going to be in Glasgow and Edinburgh (and quite possibly Gleneagles) for the G8? Doing non-violent direct action training amongst other things.

I'm heading up there with Oxfam. Have no idea what they have planned for us but no doubt it will involve tempting the generous amongst the crowd to part with their cash.
