Good News and not so good news
Good news: I have a courtesy car.
Bad news: it's a Nissan Micra (no offence to Micra drivers, but I hate them - majorly)

Good news: Got my blood tests done without bruising or fainting when it was done.
Bad news: Been feeling really dizzy and light-headed since it was taken

Good news: I've got 20 plaques made
Bad news: I've got 32 left to make.

Good news: I have no plans for tonight other than making plaques.
Bad news: I'm knackered and getting a little cross-eyed already.

Current Mood: blah

HEY!!! There's nothing wrong with Micras.

oh yes there is. Plenty.

Especially when you're used to driving a Ford.

:P

I admit, it was strange the first few weeks, but after you get used to not being able to see the front of the car from the driver's seat it's not too bad.

Ben had that problem when we went to Germany - the Corsa was so small compared to the Volvo (340 - but Volvo don't do small cars anyway).

Good luck with the plaques Sho - and eat if you're feeling light headed.

I've never heard of the Micra. I guess that model is not available in the USA...either that, or I just have not heard of it.

It's the smallest car in their range - my sister drove one for a while before she rammed it into a wall. *g*

It's horrible - the seat's up way high as if it's trying to be a 4x4 and the front is really truncated. The boot? Tiny. And I'm saying this when I drive a Ford Fiesta - not the world's biggest car!

I think I hate it - already. And it'll take at least a week for my own car to be repaired. She showed me the bill when I was in, all I can say is thank goodness for insurance!

Isn't insurance wonderful? My mother was hit by an uninsured motorist! Thank heavens she had a comprehensive policy that covered accidents caused by uninsured drivers! Because she had to go the chiropractor for months and the car was damaged, too!

I'm learning in a micra, I don't find it too bad. And at least I can see the road when I turn corners, unlike the dual-control Corsa from Arnold Clark.
