12 hours to go...  
Okay, so I'm officially excited now. *g* I'm also having severe wardrobe dilemmas, the dress I was going to wear? I kinda hate it now so it''s not coming off the hanger. On the other hand I don't really have any other options so... I may have to go clothes shopping today! It's the hitting of that balance between casual cinema going and glamorous night out that's causing the problems right now. Gah!

Anyways, I'll be a little... distracted for the next few days - going to the premiere tonight, going to the screening of Reel Life: Joss Whedon tomorrow and going to another showing of the film on Wednesday. Yay!

(Oh, and my sister kinda came through with a coat that looks kinda brownish, 'cept it stinks of cigarette smoke so I don't think I'll be wearing it...)

ETA more or less decided - the black silk strappy top I bought on Saturday with my black knee-length denim skirt and the 'heather' boots I bought to go with the original dress. Now I just want a brown coat... *g*

second edit D'oh! My burgundy Buffy-esque leather 3/4 coat! Okay so there's a mark on it where the wheels of my office chair ran over it, but hey - it's the distressed look! Why didn't I think of that one before...

Less than 12 hours now!

If you still haven't made a definitive wardrobe decision by 5 bring stuff with you to the library. I'll probably have to wait until after 5 to change and do my make-up so that can be fashion time ;o).

Louise from Staffing just called me to ask if I could cover as Service Manager tonight. I doubt she was expecting the excuse 'sorry I can't. I'm going to a film premiere tonight...' eeeee!

cool - I might just do that. Right now I'm wearing my ankle length turquoise gypsy skirt and my neighbour thinks it's a good option. I guess it is smarter than I think it is but...

Thing is I have the outfit for tomorrow sorted no problem - new dark green vintage cords and a tan vest top - it's just tonight that's getting to me!

Spoke to [livejournal.com profile] acrazywench last night and it's all good to go for the underground at 5.30, btw.

Ooops. Sorry - didn't mean to cause tailspin! I was sorely tempted to wear my "I'm blogging this" t-shirt tomorrow, I still might but I do love my little vest top that goes really well with the cords...

Hee, maybe we should go for an amusing t-shirt theme and I'll wear my 'Reading is Sexy' shirt (or perhaps my 'You're all whores' one ;o) ).

I keep being tempted by skirts but I know I won't be comfortable and should just stick with trousers.

And somehow reminding me to bring the tickets really isn't as silly as it may seem... I have them sitting next to my camera and wallet - two things I really have to take with me so there's no chance I'll forget them.

Bet I still have to turn back ten minutes down the road to pick 'em up though!
