Must. Go. Write.
Someone tell me to go do some writing? Please?

I'm watching documentaries again - which wouldn't be a problem, would in fact be educational, but they're all repeats. And not just repeats, but repeated from *yesterday*!!!

Meanwhile I have the whole of the next part of CR phrased out in my head, just begging me to put it on paper, but every time I sit down to do it I end up switching on UK History or Discovery Civilisation....

Gah!

Must. Go. Write.

(oh, my sister called. I blanked her.)

GO WRITE!

And at least you're not awake at 3 AM watching a POS movie where you can see all the plot "twists" a mile away.
But you keep watching cause' you wanna see if the movie truly is that bad! And it IS, it really is. :(

Go write Faith & Xander goodness!

Heh! I love watching movies like that!

Dammit, now you've just reminded me of the 'bad movies' channel I have. (Honestly, it's really called 'bad movies'.) Must. Hide. Remote. Control....

Bad movies channel?
Is that a Scottish thing, like the deep fried Mars bar?
[identity profile] whiskyinmind.livejournal.com on September 4th, 2005 07:01 am (UTC)
Actually it's part of the Sky package - so depending on whether you can pick up the... I want to say Astra? satellite signal, you might be able to watch it as well. *g*

And I'd like to state, categorically, that I have never eaten a deep fried Mars Bar. Now, deep fried pizza on the other hand... *g*

Alas I have cable, not satellite.

And the first time I heard about the deep fried Mars thing was from a friend of mine who went to live in Scotland. I didn't really believe him at the time though. *s*

Deep fried pizza though I've never heard of. Deep fried Meat Lover's pizza equals heart attack, right?

That pretty much defines everyday Scottish cooking. Scottish cuisine, on the other hand, I still say is some of the best in the world - the things we can do with wild salmon... *g* Normal everyday stuff though? We're really unhealthy...

Go do some writing or else I'll have to pull out my sternest face and glare at you...

Sometimes re-watching documentaries isn't that bad of a thing to do because I always find I miss some things. Even if you did just watch them yesterday.

Yes ma'am!

*g*

I'm having a slight problem with my satelite reception just now so I ended up having to switch it off anyway. I'm now writing and resolutely not watching the 'Mysterious Hanging Coffins' programme on the Discovery Channel. Honest!

Hmmmm..... I'll believe you this time **glares slightly**

Mind you that does sound interesting.

Wriiiiite!

And well done for blanking your sister. She so deserves it. Well, I don't know if blanking is the best long-term way of dealing with it, but you need to start standing up to her and not letting her take you for granted. It makes me so angry sometimes the way she treats you.

Heh. Writing, honest! (Well, okay, so I had to go see why my satellite signal kept breaking up which led to me getting the hedge trimmer out and cutting down the privet hedge at the back of my house, which then led to a five minute sneezing fit because my hayfever's triggered by privet hedges... but honest, I'm writing now!)

As for my sister, I'm trying to think of ways to show her that I'm the better person without sinking to her level - today by blanking her I kinda sank to her level, I'll come up with something better tomorrow. Hopefully! And thank you!

Well, you quite plainly need to talk to her. I get the problem that whenever you try, she gives the phone to your nephew. Maybe you could take the initiative and call her, and say that you want to talk to her about something, and that you'd rather do it face to face, and arrange to meet for coffee, thus forestalling the nephew defence. Or better still, if she has email, use that to arrange a meeting.

I know it's all a bit scary that sort of thing, but it's been allowed to fester for too long, and we all know it's better to be fester-free. And don't forget the "I" statements. *g*

Heh! Yes Ma'am! *adopts military pose and tries not to wince at the pain standing so straight causes my indie sensibilities...*

Tee hee!
