Remember last week when I said I had no ability to make decisions? Well, here's another example of that...

[Poll #577529]

My hair at the moment is about the length of the third option, so if I went with that one there wouldn't be much of a change in length. Because it is so fine (my hair that is) it needs to have a lot of texture cut into it so these options seem to be the best to me. Besides, they're kinda funky and still cute. I think. Of course, what do I know?

Oh - and how much do I love the fact that Discovery Civilisation are running entire series of documentaries in one night? There was one on Channel 4 last year called "Pagans" which I managed to only catch the last two episodes of at the time. All of it was on last night - now I just have to hope my tape lasted through to the end!

I'm going to qualify my answer by saying that style, but as a brunette.

I won't be getting it coloured today. Right now it's kinda strawberry blonde and will probably stay that way for a while I think. Haven't been blonde for years and it's kinda fun at the moment.

Okay. Just me I suppose. I've always found brunettes more attractive for some reason *g*

And yet you like Tara...

And don't really like Faith. I think those are just exceptions to the rule.

True, there are exceptions to every rule!

The second one is a little weird, I think the third one would require more coiffing everyday than I see you doing ;o) (ie more than I would also do myself.....) and the first one is really cute.

So the answer is clear :o)

Are you implying I don't take pride in my appearance or something? *g*

I'm leaning towards the Keira one myself actually - only thing is she has a narrower face than me so it might not be so flattering on me. Still, it's a good(ish) salon I'm going to so if I take the picture and say "this kind of thing, only so's it'll suit me" they should be able to do something...

Actually I was thinking just the other day of going crazy and getting my hair cut something like that (I'm getting fed up of the whole long thing....), but then I remembered that with my hair being so thick no matter what short style I get it always ends up looking like a little boy cut.

Stupid hair.
[identity profile] whiskyinmind.livejournal.com on September 26th, 2005 04:49 am (UTC)
Wow. Can't imagine you with short hair! And whilst right now I'm insanely jealous that you have thick hair, I know that if I had it I'd want finer hair... We're never happy are we? *g*
[identity profile] willowmina.livejournal.com on September 26th, 2005 05:11 am (UTC)
I went for three... but it would depend if you wanted to spend the time on getting it flicked out and whether you'd be happy with it not being flicked out if you didn't have the time (I know that I wouldn't have the time to flick my hair out... I barely have time to do anything except bung it in a ponytail in the mornings!)

So that's the one I think would work best on you...

Having fine hair myself, I think shorter is better. Although mine is naturally curly, so I couldn't do any of those. But lower maintenance is usually the best, unless you want to live for your hair.

I went with the short cut (and love it) and now I've got it this short again I'm starting to wonder why I ever grew it long in the first place! It feels so much healthier like this - and there's more body in it than it's seen in a long time!

Plus, I get to fall out of bed tomorrow morning, put a bit of wax in it and head out the door - doesn't get much easier than that!
