GIP!!!
So I have a guilty secret. I love A Life Less Ordinary. Yes, the film is cheesy, yes the haircuts are terrible, yes Cameron Diaz cannot sing to save her life and Holly Hunter's accent is a case of WTF?!, but I still love this film.

So I made an icon. And it's animated.

*g*

I should probably also point out that a good old fashioned Scot tends to celebrate Ne'er a heck of a lot more than Christmas... so I'm not exactly what one would call...sober right now.

I, too, love that movie. You are not alone in guilty pleasure land.

I tend to take it as theatre of the absurd, on film!

Theatre of the absurd is actually a very good way of viewing it! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one!

I never really understood that flick. I think it's one of those films you need to be really smashed in the correct mindset beforehand to understand :)

Love the icon!

That, and you probably need to have read way too many old romance novels of the gothic and mystery types. Also, multiple repeat viewings help. And, I'm told, it's better if you skip the first scene entirely.

Which is a whole lot of qualifiers to understand one film, I know, but, eh, what can you do.

Heh! I have watched it sober and loved it just as much...

There is a certain mindset one has to be I think and - as Bella said - some cultural references like the old romance novels is a definite plus. It's worth giving it another go if you haven't seen it in a while!

(And I made another icon from it - now I've got the whole mini-movie deal I'm kinda hooked...

I'll join in on being a fan of A Life Less Ordinary. I can't figure out why I like it, but it's always fun to watch.

Wouldn't you love to see O'Reilly and Jackson be tasked with working on the Scoobies love lives? >;)

I'll try and work on that story sometime, it's on my list...

**Squee!**

Would I love to see that? I think you can definitely take that as a given! "Jeopardy, Jackson..." *g*

Who would they have to try and get together though?

It'd have to be two unlikely people, really...
