Don't you think Bush looks tired?

If you get the reference and agree, pass it on.

Rather than spam my flist with loads of updates, I'm going to edit this one. I had this plan to have a whole new attitude towards work this year, and I do, I'm seeing it for what it is. Exactly the kind of work I swore I would never do.

And rather than let it get me down and do the usual soul-sucking thing that it always does, I'm more determined than ever to get out of here. New year, new me, new job.

Oh, and Monkey took the fridge. (We had a mini-fridge for keeping milk in which Monkey brought in. He took it away with him at the end of last year so now we don't. Wonder what the reaction would be if I took away the kettle when I leave... *eg*)

ETA What kind of library is this?! I'm currently working on some web coding and wanted to double check something in my PHP bible which the library has a copy of. I went up to check it, it wasn't there. Not that much of a surprise (although it's marked in stock it's not exactly secure) but I thought maybe one of the other books will have the same thing. Maybe they do. Trouble is there isn't a single book on PHP on the shelves. All of them swiped? Gah! Ah well, guess it'll have to wait till I get home then!

Nabbed this from [livejournal.com profile] mirabehn 'cause it looked really pretty!

That's the way to go chick... I seem to have inherited another duty so I'm getting into that now (I have the power when it comes to holidays... mwahahahahahhh....

I'm not even pretending to enjoy this any more - okay, so very few people in this place were under the illusion that I did enjoy it, but now I'm actively commenting on it. *g*

And the really silly thing? I'm actually doing the exact same thing at home except on a different site - here I'm checking if the text of a journal article opens up, at home I'm checking if the text of an INAP story opens up... No wonder I ended up iconing so much yesterday!

So, how you feeling today? Legs hurting or not really? :)

I've began doing exercise too, on a little step machine I have, I'm gonna buy an indoor bike (dunno it's name in English) too. And the best part? I realized I could play Playstation 2 and exercise, it isn't a XOR operation, it's an AND. :)

And I wonder if the XOR means anything to you...

And doesn't PHP have a very complete online help?

Legs weren't too bad this morning actually - I only really felt it when I was running up the stairs to check that book earlier - so I guess that means it'll be twenty minutes or more tonight!

People call them different things but I guess the standard would be 'excercise bike'

XOR is a maths thing isn't it? I'm with Xander in the maths department (as in, having a problem with it..) *g*

And yup - PHP online help is pretty thorough, it's just that I know exactly where in the book I needed to look for the thing I'm doing and when I was in that area of the library I figured I'd look in the others... only they weren't there... *g*

Exclusive Or, as in one or the other, not both. :)

Heh! I thought that might be it, an 'either/or' as I call it.
