Well, there's always the megachallenge idea you could exploit too. The month-long or even longer challenge with a spiffy banner as a prize and mebbee a huge fic? (I'd write that) 15,000 to 30,000 words. More if I was inspired. Only constraint being no Spuffy or Spander shipping and no Bangel or Bander shipping, although I can write friendship between the chars, no problem.

Ideas for the challenge:

- Tell a story about Xander in twenty-two icons, capped from any time in the show. The story has to be original and each icon should be independently usable as well.

- Using one cap from each ep of the show, give a perspective on BTVS from the Xander perspective.

- Summarize Xander's life in 13 icons or less, each one usable independently.

Just ideas. No idea if they're good or nothin' *grins*

They are damn good suggestions and I'll definitely be using them! *g* I put a normal challenge up this week to gauge how much life there was in the community. I guess the lack of respose has kinda shown me it's very much on its last legs at the moment. :)

Ah, but can't there be pimpage in the 'herald for some specific megachallenge? I'll organize a post and set it up on my LJ, flocked just for you so you can see what I'm talking about. If you like it, we could launch it at the 'stillness with mucho pimpage in the other comms (especially if it's the story-in-icons idea)
