And I made a little headway into the never-ending list of ongoing projects so... 10 Faith drabbles and 18 icons. :) (and yeah, spot the icons made on the laptop... the colouring looked different on that screen...

Very nice. Well-written as always, and really getting into Faith's head. What I particularly like is that at no point does she say "Right, I'm evil now". She's always - not exactly right in her own eyes, but always just herself, following the logic of everything she knows and she's experienced.

Thank you Sam! I will fully admit this is the main reason I asked the question about Faith's 'nature' last week. (Which I still owe people replies from!) I have this impression that she isn't blind to what she's doing, but she's not fully 'embracing the dark side' as it were. In season three she's going with the flow, she's reaching out and trying to tell herself that it's just an old distorted mirror that's casting her "family" in bad light.

She's not evil, but she knows she's not right.

I'm looking forward to the Graduation Day stories, when she takes gleee in killing Lester. Exploring why she's made that switch from killing the demon who was selling the books in Enemies (I still hold her reaction was genuine and that maybe she was reaching out for help from Angel - it was when he rebuffed her (pun intended) that she saw an advantage) to the point where she would kill a human with a smile on her face and a song in her heart.

:)

(and for that I'll probably remake this icon using a Grad Day scene...)

I liked them very much. Both the drabbles and the icons.

Although I'm not sure I agree with your take on some of the situations, since I see her as trying hard to go the Dark Side and be confortable there.
