Design-type poll...
I'm never happy am I? Going to change my LJ and wanted some input. One thing I should say is that I suck at working to brief with graphics. When I open a new document it kinda takes on a life of its own so the end result might not exactly reflect the result of this poll...

But hell, it's fun anyway!

[Poll #817369]

Y'know what I'll be doing a week from today at this time? I'll be hurredly slapping on some make up and teasing [livejournal.com profile] acrazywench about the dual carriageway we have to cross to get back to the hotel where the convention's at... *g*)

*g*

I'm being surprisingly productive right now, I know it'll stop sometime, but at the moment? It's not so much 'work' as it is something I enjoy doing. :)

I chose multifandom-y because all the fandoms you listed ROCK SO HARD!

The main change I think you need to make is to make the text area wider. On my computer your text area is the middle 50%, leaving 25% on each side simply blank space with no graphics and no text. It means that a block of text that should display on one screen takes many. Maybe it's just my computer?

That's actually the main reason I'm planning to change it to be honest. Well, that and the fact that the colours don't work for me anymore.

When I design a site or a layout, I will tend to design around the 'norm' - which is still 800 wide resolution and IE. What I've been doing more and more lately, is having a 'fade out' part to the top graphic so that when the screen resolution goes above the width of the 'banner' it isn't so jarring. The current layout - the 'Boxer' style - defines the width of the whole page in pixels rather than percentages so it's not really the most adaptable for multi-sized browser windows. I'll probably be using the 'flexible squares' one since it's the one I've found to be the most 'adaptable' and I haven't got the patience to code up an S1 style from scratch. :)

I went for multi because I love to see all your fandom's collide :)

Interesting to see what you come up with of course

:P

Q: Why did acrazywench cross the road?
A: Because Nathan was on the other side.

(I know he won't be there, but I've still got 5 days of wishful thinking that he will be!!;))

Went with multi-fandom simple. Seemed to fit the ecletic mix you are currently playing with.
