STOP IT!!!  
Frelling BBC News! Just. Stop. It!!

I have a phobia of Daddy-Long-Legs. They keep trailing a report on why there's been an explosion on the population of Daddy-Long-Legs. With a frelling 25inch Alien Flying Freak Of Nature on the screen.

It's a phobia, I can't move when I see it. I am having palpatations.

([livejournal.com profile] thedothatgirl and [livejournal.com profile] acrazywench kinda saw a calm panic attack from me on Saturday - one flew past me in the hotel lobby and despite having a sore leg I was as far away from it as I could be in .2 seconds)

I can't be in the same room as them. Seriously, if I know there's one in the room and the door's open, I'm gone. If the door's shut? I curl into a weeping ball alternately screaming and sobbing...

I have one of those Swiffer Sweeper things with a nice long handle...they come in SO handy for insect squishing! And I never have to get near the wretched, multi-legged creatures!
