They've actually managed to improve this a little. (It's like car crash TV, I can't stop watching it) They're getting into his psychosis a little now which is much more... Nero-like. But this whole thing they started with, the weeping for the people of Rome as the city burned and the vow to do everything he could for the citizens... it was almost painful to watch.
Now I'm just watching it as a play, rather than a pseudo-documentary. It's actually kinda fun this way. :)
I am just trying to figure out why they showed Nero first they are showing Caeser next week. Plus the battle scene in the trailer looked a bit LOTRish.
BBC is on a bit of a docudrama kick at the moment what with these and the WWII ones.
