still alive
working on something big-ish. Might be a little AWOL until it's ready.

(random Angel question - what was the last episode Kate Lockley was in?)

ETA the recap/review is only part of the big-ish thing. When I say I'll be AWOl, I mean the posts about me, rather than fandom related. If that makes sense.

Sounds fun!

Epiphany.

Shame she never came back. Kate & Angel 4eva!

Cheers!

At least one of the 'big things' will make you smile I think! I agree, Kate was great on that show, it really was a shame she never came back.

(I have no AtS icons other than this! How wrong is that?! I do have a Chris Kane icon but that's Chris, not Lindsey so this one will have to do!)

Got a whole ton of angel icons if you want them?

I dunno. In the dealing-with-Angel bit, she was OK. OK to good. But in every scene she had to be a cop, she just couldn't do it.

I don't think it mattered so much, since her being a cop was secondary to her character in the show. She was the embodiment of the establishment, as it were, and as such her lack of competence could be seen as a reflection of that.

(I'm in meta mode, sorry!)

I get you, I really do. She was ok-to-good playing off of Angel, but then again, that'd DB. But, when she was leading the task force, when she was briefing the other cops, in "Somnambulist"? I have never seen a more wooden performance on network TV. And there, she's detective-in-charge. She's the person to watch in the room. There's seventeen different ways you can take it, from angry to ill-at-ease because this is your first time taking this big a role in an investigation. ER takes none of 'em.

I think I understand.
