Just finished watching both DW and Confidential. 8PM sharp (here), I sat down, cranked the stereo receiver up, so all speaker were pounding out the most beautiful, haunting and scare music in the universe, at operatic levels. Phones off, computer out, door locked. Nobody and I mean, nobody, is going to be disturbing me now.

First impressions are that while she's certainly no Rose, she doesn't seem to want to be. I agree with the producers/writers, Rose is the instinctive, compassionate, smart companion, while Martha is the more calm, thinking, intelligent type. Both have their good and bad sides, but both are needed in the universe.

As for the Jones Family? While it's amusing to think of the fracas that group is going to bring along, I have to wonder if the show isn't going to turn into a soap opera.

And for those who've watched Confidential? What do you think of all the snippets regarding this seasons eps, at the end? I for one, can't wait!

I like her but I'm reserving full judgment for a couple of weeks. It took me a good couple of episodes to warm to Rose so it'll probably take a couple of episodes to decide on her too. I like that she was able to keep her head when she found herself in this bizarre situation and that she didn't seem too fazed by all these revelations that were thrust upon her. As long as the family don't feature too heavily it should be fine.
