Nice to know you're so damn observant. The reason I was doubled up ten minutes ago is because I was fighting the impulse to throw up. The reason I switched the lights off and spent five minutes clutching my head with my eyes closed is because I have pre-migraine symptoms.

So shut the hell up.

Seriously, I can barely move but I will tear your tongue out of your head if you don't shut up very soon.

(Two people walked right past me in the worst of it there and neither commented on the fact that my head was just above the desk and my knuckles were white. I could be dying here folks and you'd never know it...)

Oooh Mara! I hope that you get to feeling better really soon. I get migraines too, and I feel like hell when I get them. I can pull the blinds and go to bed and the light coming through the slats of the miniblinds make me feel like someone is stabbing me in the brain with a butter knife. I used to get them all the time - that's why I put a black out blind in my bedroom at home - but it had been been about five years since I last had one. Then not that long ago I had a severe one that meant I couldn't move at all and now this. It's still just at the warning stages just now, so I'm hoping I can get home and sleep it off before it lays me too low.

Thanks - it will be okay, I'm just being excessively cranky with people because of it.

I actually am doing a lot better now. I've been drinking so much water that I'm starting to feel a bit seasick... And I think my blood sugar was a little down as well so I think I'm getting there.

I absolutely hate my hair in this picture - I had one of the worst haircuts of my life before this and was growing out a mullet. So I tended not to show it to too many people. But hey - I'm hugging Steve so what's not to love about it?

I *really* need to put that on an icon! Saw some of the summer school peeps getting shown around today (at least I think that's who it was!). My office is on level three (which confusingly enough is really only the second floor from ground level...) and in the serials hall/study hall/whatever they decide to call it tomorrow. There's an open enquiry point and when you look in from outside I'm in the far left corner between the kettle and the whiteboard. Come wave at me!

(seriously, it's the easiest thing in the world to do - you put the kettle on, put a tea bag in a mug and once the kettle's boiled you pour the hot water into the mug. *g*)
