Explain this divot thing to me, I heard them taling about but I don't know what they meant. My dad played golf so the divot thing seems to have a golf inference to me - from what I could see on the replay the bloke (I dunno his name...) had the ball down before any part of his body could have touched down before he could have created a divot.

I'm more than happy to say it shouldn't have been a try if it shouldn't, I'd *really* apprecuate you telling me why it wasn't?

Well, from the slowmo replay they showed, it looked like his left foot kicked up a divot of dirt and grass before the ball was grounded, meaning his foot was on the ground in touch before the ball touched down, therefore no try.

Of course, it's just possible that the clod of dirt and grass came off the bottom of his boot while it was still off the ground, rather than being kicked up, but that's what it looked to me. And to the commentators, from what I heard. But then the video ref gave it, so who knows?

OH! Well, in tha case - it was so not a try!
