ouch
So I was walking up the road to the library, talking via my hands-free set on my mobile phone, and I fell.

For no reason (and thank goodness it wasn't an important call!). Tell me this isn't the start of my random clumsiness again? Falling and breaking my hand/wrist was the result of not being able to balance whilst standing on a stool and being very drunk. Falling while walking up the road? No reason.

And now my knee hurts. I've grazed my knee. Awesome.

Also? Why does the DWP hate me? My appeal for my ESA failed (mostly because I panicked at the thought and couldn't actually go - seriously, they take someone with extreme social anxiety and an inability to cope with new things and new people, and make them go into a court-like situation to explain that?! Seriously?) and I've had to sign on for Job Seekers Allowance. Only I got a letter this morning to say I haven't paid enough National Insurance and don't qualify. Bull. I've been working full time for over ten years and part time (and paying NI) for about five years before that. I have paid my stamp.

So now I have to appeal the whole thing again which'll take time and in the meantime I'm expected to live on no money. Just as well I actually do have some money thanks to my lawyer right now, but really? The DWP must hate me.

Things have to get better. They just have to.

I'm currently sporting a series of rainbow coloured bruises up my left arm through tripping over onto concrete on Friday. The adrenalin rush meant that it didn't hurt much at the time and, to be honest, I was just thankful that I didn't break a bone; I hit pretty hard. But it's a bit painful now.

So I sympathise. :-)

Insufficient NI payments what a shed load of bullcrap. Hang on in there you will come out of the other side.

Got a form this morning which I've now sent back - from what I got told on the phone on Tuesday it looks like GUL f*cked up somewhere along the line. That place is just determined to continue to ruin my life.
